CRAZY ANTICHRIST MOBILISING KENYANS ON A WHEEL CHAIR TO BURN THE BIBLE..MUST READ REVELATION

Wednesday 19 February 2014 - by Unknown · - 0 Comments

I AM AN ANTI-CHRIST. RED THE INTERVIEW AS THE ANTICHRIST EXPRESSES HIS VIEWS ....My name is Dennis Laibon Muriithi. I am in my mid 30s. I am an Embian. I come from Embu County and I am A RASTAMAN. Also,I am a person living with disability....given that I am confined to a wheelchair. I strongly believe in the teachings of Marcus Garvey...the views of Bob Marley and the tenets of Rastafarianism. I worship HIS HIGHNESS,the Emperor Haile Sellasie.... the Ras Tafari. And because of my deep Rastafarian roots and firm allegiance to my faith,I have initiated a campaign to BURN THE BIBLE! YES,I AM BURNING THE CHRISTIAN BIBLE. I strongly believe that the Bible has misled millions and millions of people for the last 2000 Years. I also believe that the Bible is solely responsible for the many catastrophes, deaths, calamities and errors that have plagued Earth for a long time. Armed with that mentality,I have set out on a campaign of BURNING THE BIBLE. I believe that this is a book that should be reduced to ashes as it has lied to and misled many. Obviously, I know I will encounter massive opposition and great dangers in my quest to gather and BURN BIBLES,BUT I am firm, strong and resolute in my quest. I have already started the campaign in Embu County with huge results. As we speak,I have SUCCESSFULLY BURNT over 2000 Bibles. And the Numbers keeps rising. I am doing it for Mankind, for Humanity and for Future Generations. Incase You are disagreeing with me,I invite You to share Your opinion with Me and convince Me why I should quit my BURN THE BIBLE CAMPAIGN. And in case You want a religion that is TRUE,A religion that cares and a religion that fosters Love and Higher Power,I invite You to RASTAFARIANISM. And with those few remarks,I invite You to join Me in reducing the CHRISTIAN BIBLE to ashes.

APPLE IMAC 27INCH REVIEW AND SPECIFICATIONS

Tuesday 18 February 2014 - by Unknown · - 0 Comments

Apple's latest 27in iMacs are slim, lovely and very expensive. They don't have optical drives anymore, as Apple switched to online software distribution and OS recovery last year. What this polished all-in-one does have is four USB3 ports, an SDHC card reader and two Thunderbolt ports on its back panel. Thunderbolt can be used to connect either high-speed external storage or up to two extra displays to complement the 27in 2,560x1,440 integrated screen. The standard is fast and reliable, but all Thunderbolt hardware shares the disadvantage of being relatively expensive when compared to USB3 hardware. The top-of-the-range iMac is available with a quad-core 3.4Ghz Intel Core i7 processor, which appears to be an i7-3770. It benefits from Intel Turbo boost, increasing the clock speed of its active cores to 3.9GHz when it’s operating within certain thermal limits. It's incredibly powerful and scored 116 overall in our benchmarks, while the 2GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 680MX is one of the most powerful graphics processors we've ever seen in an all-in-one PC. While compatibility issues prevent us from running our standard Crysis 2 and Dirt Showdown tests, we ran Call of Duty 4 at a resolution of 2,560x1,440 with 4x anti-aliasing and got a frame rate of 37.2fps. With an increasing number of modern cross-platform games being released with Mac support, we're pleased to see a GPU that can render them well. However, no one buys an iMac primarily for its gaming abilities. More often, it’s the destiny of these powerful all-in-one PCs to be used for music production or image and video editing. Only two of the iMac's four memory slots are currently in use, each occupied by a 4GB module of 1,600MHz RAM. That should be enough memory for the most enthusiastic digital artist, but those who need extra RAM can upgrade to a maximum 32GB
. The display is a thing of beauty. The 27in IPS screen is huge, with very wide viewing angles, and its 2,560x1,440 resolution means everything's brilliantly sharp. The high resolution and large panel size also make it ideal for image editing. Our colour accuracy tests showed that the display provided 97.5% of the sRGB colour gamut, making it a shade better than most quality IPS displays. The iMac's integrated speakers are also better than those you'll find in your average all-in-one PC. Not much bass, but good mid-range and high-frequency reproduction. Although there aren't any analogue surround sound outputs, the 3.5mm headset output at the back doubles as an optical S/PDIF output. The iMac we reviewed uses Apple's Fusion Drive SSD caching technology to provide fast access to critical applications. A 128GB SSD is linked by kernel-level software to the iMac's 1TB HDD to create a single volume. The Fusion Drive moves your most commonly used files and applications to the SSD portion of the storage volume, ensuring fast access to the data you need most. It starts by storing the operating system and applications on the SSD, but intelligently moves things between the SSD and HDD as you use the system. In common with other SSD-based storage, our iMac's Fusion array produced fast boot times: it booted to the login screen within 17 seconds of pressing the power switch. The keyboard and mouse are standard Apple issue, with the mouse's right-click function being disabled by default. Fortunately, enabling it is just a matter of opening the mouse settings within System Preferences and ticking a box. The front of the Magic Mouse is touch sensitive, so it can be used for gesture controls such as sweeping your fingers across it to swipe between screens. The keyboard is ultra-compact and lacks a numeric keypad, but its flat, widely spaced keys are well positioned and help you type accurately, although they don't provide a lot of feedback. The 27in iMac is currently the best-specified all-in-one PC on the market but this particular model probably costs too much for many potential buyers, who’d possibly be happy with a smaller Apple 21.5-inch iMac.

SECRET TO SMASHING BOOBS TO ENHANCE SATISFACTION

Monday 17 February 2014 - by Unknown · - 0 Comments

You know your bra doesn't fit right. You look at yourself in the mirror and you can see that something is off. Maybe the straps are digging in or the back is riding up. Maybe your cups are gaping or your back is bulging. Recognizing that there is a problem is easy. It’s figuring out how to fix it that’s the hard part. “A lot of women just hold onto their bras for way too long,” says Michelle Lam, founder and CEO of online bra boutique, True & Co., and overall bra-fit badass. “If you’re the kind of woman who wears the same bra every day, you need to be prepared to replace it every 3 to 4 months.” The reason, Michelle says, is that bras stretch out over time, especially if you have a larger bust, since your bra has to work that much harder to support you. “Think about it: if you’re wearing your bra for 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, for 4 months, that’s over 10,000 hours of wear time. Of course it’s going to get stretched out!” You can prolong the life of your bra by making sure it fits on the loosest set of hooks when you first buy it, but that’s not much help when you’re at home trying to figure out what to do with the bra you already have on. Some issues can be solved with a simple adjustment, but others require that you bite the bullet and go spend some money on a new bra. Here’s how you tell the difference. 1. The Problem: You straps are falling down The Solution: Adjust “First off,” says Michelle, “get a bra with some pretty straps so you won’t mind so much when they fall down. Second, understand that straps stretch out faster than the rest of the bra, so they need to be adjusted more often. Definitely after every washing and, depending on how large your bust is, sometimes even in the middle of the day.” 2. The Problem: Your straps are digging in. The Solution: Adjust Tighten your band. “The band stretches out over time,” says Michelle, “and needs to be adjusted so the straps aren’t left to do all the work.” If your straps are still digging in, look for a bra with wider straps for more even weight distribution, especially if you have a larger bust. 3. The Problem: Your band is riding up in the back. The Solution: Adjust If your band is riding up in the back, but your cups a sagging in the front, Michelle suggests you try tightening the band for added support. But, if you’re otherwise well supported, you may be able to achieve a better fit just by loosening your straps. 4. The Problem: The center gore is digging into your sternum. The Solution: Shop You can try wearing a bra with no underwire, but if you’re not getting the support you need, Michelle suggests opting for a plunge-style bra. “It won’t connect with your sternum in the same place so it should be more comfortable, especially if you have a bonier chest.” 5. The Problem: The center gore and the underwire are being held away from your chest. The Solution: Adjust “I see this a lot in women with larger busts,” says Michelle. “try tightening the band, but if that doesn’t work you may need to go down a band size.” 6. The Problem: You’re popping out of the top of your bra (aka quadra-boob). The Solution: Shop “If you’re just popping out a little bit, try changing to a demi cup or balconette style in the same size,” says Michelle. The reason is that demi cups support your breasts differently, allowing them to pool naturally instead of hiking them up and strapping them to your chest. If you are still bulging, though, you may need to go up a cup size. 7. The Problem: Side boob. The Solution: Shop A little bit of skin folding is natural. says Michelle, “but if it really bothers you, try switching to a triangle bra to cover the area.” Of course, if your spillage is more than just skin, switching to a different shaped bra probably won’t cut it. In that case go up a cup size to give your self more room. 8. The Problem: Your underwire is digging in on the side. The Solution: Shop If your breasts come more from the side and your underwire is digging in,go up a cup size until the underwire no longer pinches, then adding padding to fill any open space in the cups themselves. Yes, this will make your breasts look larger, which you may not want, but you’re going to have to pick your battles. 9. The Problem: Back bulge. The Solution: Shop Unfortunately, this is another time when a simple bra adjustment isn’t going to cut it. Instead, look for a bra with a wider band and more of a scoop shape in the back, which will provide more even support and is less likely to leave you with unsightly back rolls.

FACEBOOK NEWS ..FACEBOOK PLANS TO ROLL OUT VIDEO ADVERTISEMENT...KENYA TIMES TECH NEWS

- by Unknown · - 0 Comments

SAN FRANCISCO — Facebook on Tuesday said it soon plans to begin video advertising within members' News Feeds, a move that takes aim at massive spending budgets for television ads. The social-networking giant says in a "short amount of time" marketers will be able to tap into video ads. Facebook is testing out an ad for the film Divergent with a small number of people this week. Shares of Facebook, which touched a new all-time high, rose 1.6% to $54.67 in morning trading action following the news. Facebook's video advertising foray squares off against Google's increased efforts to attract billions of dollars to its massive video-sharing audience at YouTube. "Now, Facebook will rival YouTube as a source of online video ad reach," says Forrester analyst Nate Elliott. Yet Facebook faces a difficult task in finding the line between not outraging its users with abrasive ads and pleasing Wall Street. Underscoring the distinction, Facebook member Jason Damata said, while "I hate auto-play video ads" and would be compelled to not use the site, it will make me want to "buy FB stock because the money this will generate could be considerable and may help them formulate a viable alternative or supplement to TV ad dollars." Facebook's new video ad units could fetch between $1 million and $2.5 million per day to reach the social network's entire audience, according to an ad industry source not authorized to speak on behalf of Facebook. Spending on television ads in the United States is expected to reach $68.5 billion next year, according to eMarketer, up from $66.4 billion this year. U.S. digital video ad spending is expected to soar 39.5% to $5.79 billion in 2014. "Big brands are eagerly awaiting to increase their FB spending through video," says Brian Nowak, an analyst with Susquehanna Financial Group, who increased his price target to $68 from $52 ahead of the announcement. Facebook's video ads will begin running automatically across its News Feed but will remain muted unless people turn on the audio of the ads. The new ad forms will begin on both desktop and mobile. The social network will need to be mindful of not blasting its 1.2 billion members with too many ads. Facebook executives noted on its third-quarter earnings that it had reached its capacity for the number of ads it can serve its audience. "The company hasn't always been smart about testing new ad formats and rolling them out slowly, but that'll be important here to avoid compromising both the user experience and the video ads' effectiveness," says Elliott. Still, Facebook's effort to limit the number of ads in its News Feed could boost ad prices. With restricted supply coming to its ad marketplace that faces improved clicks from advertisement advances, including such video ads sold at a premium, prices are poised to climb in Facebook's auction-buying format, say analysts.

HOW TO CLEAN UP SPIRITUAL MESS....HUMOR AND SARCASM...BOOK REVIEW

Sunday 16 February 2014 - by Unknown · - 0 Comments

HOW TO CLEAN UP SPIRITUAL MESS BY MOSES GAITARA ...At school, Osibisa was an expert in cleaning toilets and bathrooms. He was nicknamed ‘Osibisa’ after a Central African Band that was famous in the sixties and seventies. In the four years that I attended the school, Osibisa ‘hummed’ only one particular tune by that famous band. The piece of lyric he ‘hummed’ went something like, “Osibisa-ah o yea...!” Osibisa never even sang the lyrics of the bit he preferred. He only ‘hummed’ it. He cleaned ablution blocks once daily, and sometimes twice a day. As you can imagine, given the size of that institution with ablution blocks everywhere, Osibisa had his work ‘well cut out’ for him. Believe you me, more often than not; the state of the toilets and bathrooms was appalling! The bathrooms were always dirty and the toilets were often filthy, but that illiterate man knew that that was probably the only job he would ever get. The toilets often overflowed with sewage, but under cubicles, Osibisa would hurl bucket-loads of water like ‘live grenades’ to hated enemy camps. Cleaning those facilities would have daunted a lesser man, but Osibisa was unperturbed by the entire ‘hullabaloo’ that came with that tasking ordeal. Every time and everywhere, you’d find Osibisa ‘well-armed’ with his notorious little ‘war cry’ of a tune, ‘humming’ it away through chores. He needed no lyrics, a song sheet or a music director! All he needed was a broom to brush off the stubborn filth and toilet chemicals for ‘the kill.’ ‘Well-armed’ with his little ‘hum’, nothing was any big deal! Osibisa would ‘hum’ away at anything the day ‘threw’ his way. It didn’t matter that the day didn’t ‘turn up’ right, he seemed to ‘hum in’ another day at will. It didn’t matter that ‘Mark’ chided him often; Osibisa seemed to ‘fix’ himself a ‘stiff glass’ of his favourite ‘song’ and drown his sorrows in his ‘hum’! The ‘battalion’ of students would hurl abuses at him, but he’d come well prepared for them to ‘bring it on’, and promptly unleash his ‘hum’ their way. It may sound punitive to some, but that little piece of a tune seemed to be the only ‘game plan’ Osibisa had formulated, to work his way to retirement. That ‘hum’ was the psychological ‘drill’ he needed to boost his everyday morale. It was the mental ‘nose mask’ that blocked off the stench of unbearable smelly loos. It was like the only ‘insurance policy’ Osibisa had, to handle any financial crisis. As long as he could ‘hum’ Osibisa remained motivated to keep putting food on his family’s table. If Osibisa could ‘hum’, then he could make it through anything! He only needed to clear his throat and ‘hum’ his way tthrough another month and the years would come ‘flying’ past; without denigrating his enthusiasm. The ‘hum’ consoled him through many decades in defecated smelly toilets, a lifetime of menial labour, and condescending snobbish glances. He couldn’t read or even write it, and he would often ‘hum’ it out of tune, but he faced each daily ordeal with his favourite ‘hum’……

SHAME AS NAIROBI TEENAGERS CONTINUE HAVING S3X AT NAIROBI ARBORETUM

- by Unknown · - 0 Comments

Teenagers on sex escapades have returned to the arboretum again, less than a year after The Nairobian exposed them. In the past two months, young people – mostly students from high schools and universities – have been busted at Arboretum Grounds having sex in thickets at the forest. According to a guard at the arboretum, random sex by high school students has become rampant especially during the weekends and the holiday seasons. He told The Nairobian that in the past few weeks they have arrested teenagers as well as adults enjoying sex. He said that the vice has not stopped even though the city government held an emergency meeting early January to come up with measures to stop misuse of the arboretum. He said the security team from City Hall had before the meeting reported that students who carried laptops to the site pretended to be working on their research papers, but were watching porn. But speaking to The Nairobian Gideon Musa, the head of operations at the Inspectorate Department, said the arboretum is managed by the Kenya Girl Guide Association (KGGA) but is supervised through the county government’s by-laws. “Our by-laws are against that,” said Musa. “I will ensure a committee takes care of that from Monday (February 10).” Our sources also revealed to The Nairobian that some students do not use protection thus increasing the risk of infection from STIs. But those who use contraceptives are careless. “The students using condoms dump them around after the act,” said the guard. Efforts to reach KGGA on phone for details on how the site is managed were futile...Nairobian

DENNIS ITUMBI narrates about his love life VALENTINES day,,,must read

Saturday 15 February 2014 - by Unknown · - 0 Comments

Valentine day was the day I arrived in Nairobi dressed in a Maroon and cream Kaunda suit_ the closest I had to Red. That is a story I have told before. Five Valentine's ago, while working for Baraka FM I bought my first car a Maroon Subaru - I did not know how to drive. Dad was very clear- each of us should work hard and drive their own car. Instead of teaching us how to drive he taught us how to milk, plant and grow banana's,coffee, maize and beans.(For that am always grateful) Anyway, when I picked the car Martin Gitau drove my first car for me. I Decided I had to know how to drive in five days. I paid a driving school - day two I was out. I could not stand the slow pace. The next day I moved the car, It was manual by the way and drove abit..The car moved and by 2.30pm despite stalling several times - I took a move. I drove towards South B, of course stalling endless times. There were no incidents. Except that of course everytime I changed gears the car stopped because I did not know how to balance. I did not have a Learner badge or a driving licence, that was of course illegal and wrong. On the way back after the Upper Hill roundabout, just after the Memorial graveyard- the car stalled.Luckily the traffic was not very tight. This time I pulled the handbrake, I just could not ascend the steep hill. So I opened the bonnet and pretended to repair the car...For a whole one hour until traffic eased abit. I then literally drove up with the handbrake on. The next incident was next to KIE, in a panic move I confused the brake for the 'mafuta' and in the proccess I ended up in a ditch as I swerved off the road to avoid hitting other cars. It was Valentine, so again I was in luck, my bumper was done but the car was still okay. With the help of a few by-standers I was back on the road - by now my confidence was gone. The rest of the drive home was slow and closer to Zero speed for every KM covered. Just when I thought I was done when I got home...I simply could not park. Eventually with the help of a friend I did. Valentine was the first day I drove in Nairobi. Four days later I was a qualified self taught driver I love the lessons Nairobi taught me and the toughest were on Valentine day. Enjoy your day, whether marking Love,a Birthday or just memories and lessons like me. Hey, by the way today something happened, I will tell it one day in the future.

The new whatsapp programme updates will see you giving the app permissions that could cost you your privac without knowing 1. Camera - This enables WhatsAPP to take pictures and video using your device camera without your confirmation - In other words someone is spying and can even take videos where you are. 2. More disturbing it accesses all the data of your phone contacts including emails. 3. Access to Google Applications and Passwords - This is very disturbing the App is able to access your emails without further consent and even communicate on ur behalf. 4. Exclusive report//Was KENNETH MARENDE A... #BEDROOM BULLY#...Read it yourself and be the JUDGE

- by Unknown · - 0 Comments

A woman has sued former National Assembly Speaker Kenneth Marende seeking Sh400,000 a month as upkeep for a child he allegedly sired. The court has already ordered Marende to pay Sh103,000 as school fees for the three-year-old girl staying with her mother. He is to pay rent for the house in Rongai, Nairobi, where the mother and child live, and also provide medical insurance. The orders were issued by the Principal Magistrate F. Munyi at the Children’s Court in Nairobi following an urgent application by the woman, who says Marende is her daughter’s biological father. The woman told the court that Marende initially performed his parental responsibilities by paying for the child’s upkeep until November 2013 when he suddenly stopped. The woman — who says she became friends with Marende in 2008 — says she conceived in 2009 and delivered a baby girl named after Marende’s mother. When she delivered at Nairobi Hospital, the former Speaker was excited to be a father and he assured her of unfailing support in bringing up the child, she says. She says she trusted him on account of his age as well as the position he held as a respected Speaker of the National Assembly. Things looked up after she delivered because she was moved from the house in Westlands to a four-bedroomed one in Lavington, according to her. Marende then paid for her and her child’s upkeep, paid for a househelp and provided a medical policy for the child processed through the National Assembly scheme, she says. When the child attained school-going age, she was enrolled at an international school in Karen. She says after the General Election in 2013, Marende asked the woman to move from Lavington to Kileleshwa, to which she complied. He later again asked her to move to Rongai, where she now lives, she says. But things changed in November last year when Marende abruptly stopped providing upkeep, according to her. He also failed to pay school fees for the first term, this year, a move the woman says prompted her to file the case. “I’m not gainfully employed and I’m about to be thrown out of the house,” says the woman. She wants the court to issue interim orders directing Marende to pay Sh475,000 monthly for the child’s upkeep pending the hearing and determination of the case. She argues that Marende’s withdrawal of financial support has drastically affected the child, who was used to clean and spacious shelter. She wants the court to order Marende to pay school fees amounting to Sh180,000, rent (Sh90,000), clothing (Sh60,000), entertainment (Sh100,000), electricity (Sh10,000), water (Sh5,000) and a care giver (Sh12,000). The woman is also seeking custody of the child. Marende is yet to respond to the suit, filed on January 29. The case is scheduled for hearing on February 26, in the presence of both parties.

TEENAGERS AND SEX ,,,FACTS THAT PARENTS SHOULD PUT STRAIGHT

- by Unknown · - 0 Comments

Sex. This is one of the hardest topics for parents to broach with their kids. Parents are confused about just how much information is enough to give their teen; when to start such talk, and the difference in the sexuality content between the female and male teenager. Other than that, there is also the issue of whether teenagers with sexuality related concerns should be seen by pediatricians, adult physicians or gynaecologists. Increasingly though, there appears to be general consensus that pediatricians should treat adolescents, especially with the increasing realisation that most children begin to experience pubertal changes at an early age. At the same time, many children become exposed to adult sexual content from the Internet, friends, media outlets and peers. Visits to the doctor are few and often don’t focus on the unique needs of the teenager. Research shows that physicians are missing opportunities to educate and counsel adolescent patients on healthy sexual behaviours and prevention of sexually transmitted infections, and unplanned pregnancy. A recent study to assess sexuality discussions during health maintenance visits by adolescents and to identify predictors of time spent discussing sexuality and level of adolescent participation in North Carolina found that roughly, a third of adolescents left the physician’s office with no mention of sex or sexuality issues. In cases where sexual content was discussed, physicians initiated the talks, with teenagers often responding silently or with simple yes or no answers. The older teenager was more likely to talk about sex. However, by waiting until teenagers are older to discuss sex, we may miss opportunities to identify adolescents who are contemplating sexual activities. While we agree that attending clinicians could be an important source of information regarding sexuality, the role of the parent as the first source of information and guidance cannot be over emphasised. Parents should initiate discussion as early as possible with their teenagers.

APPLE IPHONE 6 RELEASE DATE AND SPECULATIVE RUMORS

iPhone 6 Release Date And Recent Rumors

Apple Inc. is not expected to come up with the iPhone 6 until fiscal 2014, but the much awaited phone has been in news immediately after the launch iPhone 5 series. New reports carrying expected features and pictures for the iPhone 6 are flooding the web on a daily basis. So, to keep the readers up to date with the latest gossip, below is around-up of the latest rumors and reports surrounding iPhone 6. Also see Nokia short hurts Tiger Cubs’ 2013 numbers. iPhone 6 in 2014 Going by the historical launch trends of Apple Inc. , the iPhone 6 is expected in fiscal 2014. The Cupertino-based company has launched a new iPhone every year, so it is safe to assume that fiscal 2014 will be no exception. However, after the launch of the iPad Air and the iPad mini, it is very likely that Apple may assign a new name to its next iPhone. Technically speaking, iPhone 6 would not be the sixth phone as iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C were the seventh and eight iPhone since the launch of the iPhone in 2007. According to a report, the new iPhone might be launched in the first quarter of 2014, to compete with Samsung’s Galaxy S5, which is expected to unveil in April. However, there are speculations that the phone may be launched in summer of 2014, which would be in line with Apple’s last three iPhone release dates. Also, many say that the iPhone 6 launch could be expected when Apple launches its new iOS, which might apparently be called iOS8. Analysts expect a bigger screen Almost a year ago, Jefferies analyst Peter Misek stated that Apple Inc. might launch larger display iPhones, and that the larger display iPhone could be unveiled within 18 or 24 months. The Wall Street Journal echoed similar reports, stating that the iPhone 6 could have a bigger display. In September, a report claimed a 4.8 inch screen size, asserting that Apple is testing larger size screens like the one in the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. In the article, it was mentioned, “The electronics giant has begun evaluating a plan to offer iPhones with screens ranging from 4.8 inches to as high as six inches.
” NPD Display research stated in a recent report that Apple is testing two display size screens for its new iPhone. The new devices with a bigger display could be the iPhone Air and an iPhone mini or simply an iPhone 6 and iPhone 6c. Analyst Gene Munster also maintains that iPhone 6 could have a larger display similar to reports from Glen Yeung of Citi Research. The new device could be launched this fall, according to analysts. One report predicts that the resolution of the phone will be 1920 x 1080. A report from 9to5 Mac states that analyst Ming Chi Kuo holds that Apple is looking forward to unveiling iPhone 6 with a 4.5 inch to 5 inch display in 2014. Kuo has predicted many such features in the past with a high degree of accuracy. Change, no change or major change Apple has a tendency to deliberate changes in its devices and subsequent versions. Apple keeps similar designs for two years, which indicates that the company may not wholly revamp the look of the iPhone 6 in fiscal 2014. However, going by recent trends and the company’s desire to retain loyal customers, the iPhone maker may bring out a larger screen display to compete with Samsung, which is dominating the smartphone market at this time. Websites are inundated with conceptual and artistic designs of the forthcoming iPhone 6, but none of the designs are official. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has patented a string of new innovation and technology, and users, along with analysts, are eager to see how the iPhone maker uses them in its new device.

LADIES ..SHAMELESSLY..SMOKING SHISHA,DANGERS OF SHISHA SMOKING

Friday 14 February 2014 - by Unknown · - 0 Comments

Although many people believe shisha tobacco is less dangerous than smoking cigarettes, research has shown that smoking shisha can cause damage to the lungs and the heart. Shisha (or sheesha) is an oriental tobacco pipe which is available to buy or use in designated cafes worldwide. Herb or fruit flavoured tobacco is burnt using charcoal placed on aluminium foil. The tobacco smoke is cooled as it passes through a water-filled bowl and inhaled deep into the lungs using a flexible tube. Although the water-filled bowl, which the tobacco passes through, is a barrier to the tar and absorbs nicotine, much greater levels of smoke are inhaled by the user compared with smoking cigarettes. Research has shown that smoking shisha for 60-minutes can produce 100-200 times more smoke than having one cigarette. Smoking shisha also causes the inhalation of toxic gases, as well as aluminium fumes, which can cause both lung and heart problems. The amount of carbon dioxide inhaled through smoking shisha is very high compared with cigarette smoking, depending on the ingredients used. In addition, the packaging of shisha tobacco makes people less aware of the amount they are smoking compared with cigarettes and medical experts caution that frequently smoking shisha significantly increases the risk of lung cancer and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

CRAZY CHINESE MAN PAYS COURT FINE IN COINS .......READ DETRAILS HERE

China — Bank workers in Kunming, Yunnan province in Southwest China, spent eight hours counting 5,000 yuan in one jiao (0.1 yuan) coins thanks to a Chinese man who paid an assault fine with some serious spite. Last year, a woman with the surname Wu was eating at a noodle shop where she and her husband reportedly got into an altercation with the owner. The argument turned physical, with Wu suffering a brain contusion and her husband leaving with three broken ribs. A court awarded Wu damages. After paying her the bulk of the 68,000 yuan ($11,000,) fine, the noodle restaurant owner gave the remaining 10,000 yuan ($1,600,) in eight large bags of coins. Wu deposited half of the change, which took 18 peeved bank workers all day.

PLEASE KEEP OFF ENERGY DRINKS LIKE MONSTER ENERGY DRINK,,,,IT IS DEATH PACKAGED IN BEAUTIFUL CANS ...TAKE QUAIL EGGS...LEADS TO STROKE.....

Wednesday 12 February 2014 - by Unknown · - 0 Comments

According to a story published this week by the Daily Mail, Monster energy drink could lead to seizures, mania, stroke, sudden death or a fatal heart attack. The energy drink, being sold at Sh200 is popular with the young in Nairobi, especially teenagers. The UK family of a 14-year-old girl who died after she drank two of the beverages is also suing the makers of Monster, an energy drink with the caffeine equivalent of seven cans of Coca-Cola. There is growing alarm In December 2011, 14-year-old Anais Fournier died of “cardiac arrhythmia due to caffeine toxicity” after drinking two 710 ml cans of Monster Energy drink. With some cans having 13 teaspoons of sugar and the equivalent in caffeine of two cups of coffee, there is growing alarm over what these drinks are doing to the young body and brain. According to another article in The New York Times, five people may have died over the past three years after drinking Monster Energy, according to incident reports recently released by the US watchdog, Food and Drug Administration. In the Daily Mail article, Jenni Weaver was baffled by her 15-year-old daughter Gina’s mysterious symptoms. “She started having really bad stomach cramps,” says Jenni. “She was suffering headaches, too. I was so worried, but I couldn’t work it out and neither could our family doctor.” In March, the pain got so bad that Gina, 15, had to be hospitalised and given morphine. Three or four cans a day The doctor couldn’t establish what was causing it, so he asked Gina about her diet,” says Jenni. “She had a normal diet, but then she mentioned that she drank the energy drink Monster. She admitted she drank about three or four cans a day, which she was buying on her way to school. “The doctor told her that she had to stop. Gina followed the doctor’s advice and the stomach pains and headaches have ceased.” Gina was drinking up to two litres of Monster a day, which is around 640mg of caffeine – the recommended daily limit for adults is 400mg. A 2011 study in America reported on a number of cases where excessive caffeine consumption in energy drinks had been associated with effects such as “seizures, mania, stroke and sudden death”. Monster is distributed in Kenya by Wines of the World, one of the leading forces in the alcoholic beverage market. Was taken to bed When reached for comment by The Nairobian as to whether the company has raised awareness among consumers about over consumption of Monster, a Ms Ann from the marketing department said: “Anything we communicate to consumers usually come from the head office and all the information about the drink is available on the head company’s website.” ‘Kui’, a waitress at Extreme Pub and Restaurant in Embakasi said the drink is a favourite with teetotalers. “Most people who join their friends but don’t drink prefer to take Monster. They drink three or four cans the whole night. I didn’t know too much of it is bad,” she says. E-mails to Kenya Bureau of Standards regarding Monster weren’t replied to by the time The Nairobian was taken to bed as the switchboard operator could not transfer us to the specific department, but asked that we book an appointment to see the director next week, (February 10-14). ADVICE;;.;.BEFORE YOU GET INTO MARRIAGE YOU NEED TO READ THIS STORY FROM A MAN WHO HAVE GONE THROUGH HELL OF A LIFE INITIATED BY HIS SAVED GOLDDIGGER WIFE

- by Unknown · - 1 Comment

COURTESY[ CABU GAH]

My Name is Francis Muroki. I am 55 Years old.I have worked in senior positions in the media and trotted the globe on media assignments. For the better part of My career,I covered former president Daniel Arap Moi on his many official trips abroad. And I carefully balanced My work and family life, giving My family the best I could. And Just when My marriage appeared calm, I was rudely jostled out of My comfort zone in a devastating way. I got married at the Holy Family Basillica in 1986. My wife and I exchanged Golden Wedding Rings which had arrived from THE VATICAN itself in Rome! And among the many Wedding gifts we received was a huge congratulatory portrait from the POPE HIMSELF! Pope John Paul, the 2nd. Severally, I had gone to Rome on official duty while working in the media and for the Catholic Church as an editor and writer of the various magazines owned by the Church. And that's how I met and made friends with the Pope. It was my day for double blessings when I got a job in 1985 in the editorial department of the then Kenya Times Media Trust in Nairobi. I also met and fell in love with a young girl working in the advertising department. We courted for a year and our love culminated with us walking down the aisle in 1986. Our marriage was blessed with three children who arrived in quick succession. They were all born at the Nairobi Hospital. At the time, the hospital demanded early booking and deposit payment three months in advance for any woman who wished to deliver there. I wasn’t worried since I wanted to give my family the best start in life. Our first child was born in 1987 had bouts of serious tonsillitis for the better part of his childhood. I recall frequenting hospitals and paying huge bills until he finally outgrew his condition. Our second child was born in 1988 after a very difficult pregnancy. We were so afraid that the baby would be born prematurely. Luckily, this wasn’t the case and the baby girl was born healthy. And in 1990, our last child was born through a Caesarean section. After the Caesarean section, my wife developed a hernia – a very painful condition that cost a lot of money to treat. Her medical bills were so high that I overspent on my medical cover from my employer. I also took some time off work to care for her. As a result of spending too much time out of the office and claiming more than I should have on the medical cover, everything snowballed into a huge problem and I eventually lost my job at a time when I desperately needed it. Thankfully, while I was employed I had bought land and built a beautiful permanent home in Nairobi’s Ongata Rongai area where we settled. Additionally, we were a prayerful family and went to church together. My priority was to give my children a good foundation and we enrolled them in good private schools in Meru, Molo and Kisumu. I was big about cars and often sent my wife to Dubai to buy and ship our personal cars and matatus, since we operated a fleet of matatus in Ongata Rongai area. This was also a chance to expose her to the world and broaden her knowledge. All the vehicles were registered in her name because I was a believer that in a marriage, there should be no division of property. Eventually in 2007, I left the mainstream media and had spells of being jobless. The financial situation got worse and progressively started affecting our marriage. Luckily by the end of 2007, I got a short-term contract with the United Nations Development Programme. By the time the contract ended, our children had completed their high school. Our firstborn enrolled at Strathmore University in 2008, the same year I also enrolled for an evening programe for a communications degree at the Daystar University. In 2009, our other two children enrolled at the Kenya Methodist University (KEMU) in Nairobi. Luckily, my wife who at the time had a steady job in the insurance industry, helped pay their school fees. I struggled to complete my course at Daystar as well as look for a job. It wasn’t easy and my wife was getting jittery about my jobless status and failure to provide for my family. Sometimes it was embarrassing when my children asked me to buy them something but I could not afford it. And With time they lost respect for me and my wife didn’t help matters, as she would put me down in their presence. She also changed her attitude towards me. And then One night in 2010, I fell and hurt my knee near our home as I was coming from evening classes. My family was not bothered when I got into the house in bloodstained clothes. That was the painful beginning of my isolation. Subsequently, I came home one evening in January 2011 and was held captive by my family. My son secured the front door with a chair and kept guard so that I couldn’t get out. My wife and children humiliated me for hours. They were spoiling for a fight. My eldest son even openly challenged me to a physical fight, as he verbally abused me. It was a very painful experience. After this incident, my wife hired transport and packed all our household items. ALL OUR HOUSEHOLD ITEMS! And walked out of our 24-year marriage taking along the children. I was devastated and moved into a lodging in Ongata Rongai until I was totally unable to pay it. I moved back into my empty home where I still live alone to this day. I developed severe depression and started drowning my sorrows in alcohol. On learning about my marriage break-up, my mother went into shock and collapsed. She never regained consciousness and died in hospital three weeks later, towards the end of April 2011. After her burial, I picked a few items from her house and returned to my house to start life afresh. At 55, I am lonely and only left with memories of my now broken family. I am back to where I started as a young man, with nothing to my name. I have become a total stranger to my family as was evident in mid last year during my children’s graduation. I was not invited and only learnt about the gradation from family friends. The bible has been my best companion, adviser and consoler. I thought I had done the best for my family but today am wiser. Even when you think you are comfortable and settled in your seemingly lasting marriage, don’t bask in your glory. I have since learnt that, just because your spouse is a Christian doesn’t mean they are saints. And I want to leave You with a quote from the famous philosopher,Friedrich Nietzsche...He said,''It is not a lack of Love, but a lack of Friendship that makes unhappy marriages.” Friends WOULDN'T abandon Friends. Friends DON'T Leave Friends in trouble. Friends DON'T walk away when things get rough. Friends DON'T wake Up one day and forget EVERYTHING You've been through. I thought she was My friend. Turns out I was dead Wrong. I Miss My Family. Now I know what it means to have and lose a family. I pray that Your marriages don't end up as mine did and also,If You aint married Yet,DON'T RUSH. THINK HARD. Think Very Hard before taking the step.

CONDOM ADVERTS WON'T SAVE YOU ,THUS SAYS CABU GAH...READ THE TOUCHING STORY

- by Unknown · - 0 Comments

CONDOM ADVERTS WONT HELP. IF YOUR HEART DOESN'T FEEL THE SAME. This is MY GIRLFRIEND.... And ONLY I know what I feel about Her. Last Night I was holding her in my arms...and then she fell asleep... We had just been playing an online game after a movie we were watching, RIDE ALONG by Kevin Hart,ended.... I guess she got tired...And fell asleep...In my arms... I swear to God...there is NOTHING BETTER than watching the person YOU LOVE MOST in the World, losing themselves and falling asleep in YOUR arms...there is Nothing sweeter... Have You ever held a little baby?? And then she fell asleep in Your arms?? Its a Heavenly feeling. Its Nirvana. Am telling You. Now,after My baby slept in my arms... I flipped the t.v channels to stumble onto a condom advert... I know I have exhaustively tackled the topic of Condom Ads here... Now,as the Advert played on,they finished off with "tuwakinge tuwapendao...blah blah...blah...." The usual, preachy rhetoric came on...I was implored to use a condom WHENEVER I was out indulging in my hedonistic sexcapades,IF NOT For Myself, atleast for "the ones I Loved..." NO ONE LIKES ADVERTS. Infact, when they come on,we quickly flip channels.... Adverts are characteristically boring, repetitive, insipid, intrusive, lifeless and overwhelmingly bland. And we tend to pay minimal to zero attention to them. But as I watched the Advert,I looked at My girl who was serenely lying in my arms... Asleep. And then, the whole concept made sense...I saw the advert in a whole different dimension...And I totally AGREED with it... "Wakinge Uwapendao..." I watched her sleep...so peacefully and without a care in the World,Not only trusting me to rock her to sleep but also trusting Me with Her Love,Heart and Future... And right there and then,I knew that it would BE CRIMINAL to bring STDs and HIV/AIDS home to her... Right there and then,The Love I had for Her superseded ANY Message that could ever be carried in Adverts or Billboards or Whatever... I realized that the word,"Wakinge Uwapendao...." was a powerful word. Powerful. But You see,For You to "Kinga Uwapendao" You must first be TRULY and DEEPLY in Love with them... You MUST BE. Otherwise, If You are just messing with Her or Him...Or just taking them for a ride,Its hard to feel the URGE to "Kinga" them. Kama Huwapendi,Huwezi Kuwakinga. And that's why I feel that,to win the war on HIV and sexual diseases,LAZIMA KWANZA TUPENDANE. Mapenzi Ya dhati. Deep,Unbreakable Love. Kama sikupendi, basi SIWEZI KUKUKINGA. Love is powerful. It overcomes ALL. And as My Baibe was asleep in My arms,I saw how vulnerable she was,How innocent she was,How trusting and Faithful she was... And I knew right there and then,IT WOULD BE AN UNFORGIVABLE CRIME to bring STDs and sexual diseases home to that girl.... I would NEVER FORGIVE Myself. And I remembered how Many Girls... How many Men stayed true to the Union, true to the Relationship, Only to be INFECTED by the people they TRUSTED the Most. Its Hurting. So today,I urge ALL of You to sit and think of the One You Love,Hold them in Your arms tonight if possible, think about How Much You guys Have been through, Look past at Your journey together,at the formation of a Young Love to the culmination of an Unbreakable bond...Think about them...Deeply and Analytically... Remember how much You Love them...And how Much they Love You... Now,think about Bringing DEADLY SEXUAL Diseases to them!!! Its Unthinkable. And Unpardonable! As I held my Angel in My arms,I knew I had to keep her safe! And healthy! I had to! Its a MUST! You know what?? We dont even need adverts...Or billboards or Whatever... Because as long as You deeply and sincerely Love them,THEN the responsibility to take care of them,'Chunga' them and 'Kinga' them comes NATURALLY. What we NEED is MORE TRUE LOVE and LESS ADVERTS. NO ONE would want to harm the ONE they Love! No one!! And Baibe,I promise, I ain't Never putting You in a risk. Never. Not Because An Advert Opened My Eyes....But Because Your Love Opened My Heart. YOU DON'T kinga them by using a condom,You kinga them by NEVER Needing to even use one with ANY other person in the first place.

WORLD OF NOKIA LUMIA 1520 REVIEW AND SPECS IN COMPARISON TO OTHER SMART PHONES

- by Unknown · - 0 Comments

With Android phone/tablet hybrids, or phablets, everywhere you look, it was only a matter of time before Nokia launched its own Windows Phone model. The Lumia 1520 is the 14th Lumia phone since the launch of the 800 two years ago, showing Nokia and Microsoft will stop at nothing to fill every possible segment with a new handset. The Lumia 1520 does fit in a very defined niche, however; phablets are aimed squarely at those who are willing to compromise slightly on portability and screen size so as not to have to buy or carry both a phone and a tablet. It's also the very first Windows Phone with a Full HD screen. A 6in Full HD screen leaves plenty of room for Windows Phone's Live Tiles As with other phablets we’ve seen, such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Samsung Galaxy Mega and HTC One Max, the 1520 seems huge when you first hold it, but you quickly get used to its bulk. It even fits fine in trouser pockets, so long as your jeans aren’t too skinny. The main compromise over a normal-sized handset is that it's hard to use one-handed, but we find this is a problem with most smartphones over around 4.3in in size. The 1520 is a classy phone all round, though, and even trumps the metal-bodied HTC One Max for build quality. It's a unibody design with a single piece of polycarbonate wrapping around the back and screen, and just feels lovely to hold. We still don’t think anyone, with the possible exception of Apple, makes such beautiful hardware as Nokia. The polycarbonate chassis feels tough and is lovely to hold The only thing we don’t like about the 1520's design is that it has a Nano rather than Micro SIM slot. This won’t bother you if you buy the 1520 on contract, but it's a pain if you want to get it SIM-free and use your current card. We wish manufacturers would settle on a SIM size standard, as three different types is two too many. Lumia 1520 display Unlike other high-end Lumias such as the 1020, the 1520 has an IPS rather than AMOLED screen. It's a 6in model with a 1,920x1,080 resolution, and there are significant image quality differences between the Lumia 1520 and 1020's displays. The 1020's AMOLED panel has more saturated colours and blacker text than the 1520's IPS model, but the 1020's screen is much warmer, to the point of appearing slightly yellow when side by side with the 1520. The 1520's panel has purer whites, but if anything is too cold, giving web pages backgrounds a slightly grey tint. It's still a high-quality screen, though, and compares well to the best IPS panels we've seen, such as that on the Google Nexus 7 tablet. The screen stands up well to the competition, but we found the colour balance slightly too cold Lumia 1520 specs The 1520 is also fast. Its quad-core 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 processor is the fastest we've seen in a Windows Phone 8 handset, and the operating system simply flies. The phone completed the Sunspider JavaScript benchmark in an incredibly fast 536ms, which makes it almost twice as quick as the Lumia 1020 and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in this test, and the quickest phone we've seen in this benchmark bar the iPhone 5S with its 416ms score. The 1520 has the same processor as the Galaxy Note 3, but Windows Phone 8's version of Internet Explorer is a particularly fast browser. Web browsing is a dream on this handset, as the phone almost never hesitates as you zoom in and out and pan around web pages, even complicated graphics-heavy ones such as www.guardian.co.uk. The phone's screen is also large enough, in terms of size and resolution, to read desktop web pages fairly comfortably when fully zoomed out, but, as expected, it's still not quite as easy as reading pages on a 7in or 10in tablet. The only irritation is the way that the Back button behaves. When you're in a web browsing session pressing the button will take you back through your previous pages, as expected, but if you ever go back to the main app screen and then reopen your browser, you will lose the previous pages you visited; the Back button will now only go back to the app tray. You can at least get around this by bringing up the recent pages menu. We couldn’t run our normal 3DMark benchmark as it's not available for Windows Phone, but we could run the GFXBench T-Rex test in Full HD. The Lumia 1520 completed this with an average frame rate of 25fps, which is essentially the same as the 26fps we saw from the Galaxy Note 3. Challenging 3D games such as Halo Spartan Assault run beautifully on the Lumia 1520. 3DMark isn’t the only app that isn’t available for Windows Phone. You'll miss out on National Rail, for example, but the Trainline is there to compensate. There's also now the Rightmove app for house hunters. Every time we review a Windows Phone handset we find fewer gaps in the lineup, and there aren't many apps we really miss - with the possible exception of Oliver's Lan's beautiful Touch Calendar, which remains Android-only. Lumia 1520 apps There are some definite compensations for a lack of app choice in the Microsoft Store, and these come in the shape of Nokia's own apps. These go from strength to strength. Nokia Mix Radio, with all its free tracks, music mixes and offline support, is as wonderful as ever, but we're particularly impressed with Nokia Screen Beamer and HERE Maps. Screen Beamer is an evolution of the Photo Beamer app we've seen before, but instead of just displaying photos from your photo gallery in another device's web browser, it will now send whatever you have on the 1520's screen to the browser. It's simple to use - you just go to beam.nokia.com in the other device's web browser, then scan the QR code shown in that browser with your 1520's camera. Your 1520's screen will then be displayed in the other device's browser in almost real time (there's around a half-second delay, so it's no good for video). It's a great way to get your phone's screen on to something bigger without messing around with cables. Offline turn-by-turn navigation from HERE Drive HERE Maps' main claim to fame is that it has offline mapping support. Google Maps also lets you save maps, but HERE has two main advantages; you can download map data for as many regions as you want or have storage for, instead of the limited amount of map data allowed by Google, and HERE has both offline mapping and postcode and point of interest (POI) support. It's perfect if you've ever been lost and stranded without signal when using Google Maps, or for using your phone abroad without incurring data charges, but the Point of Interest data isn’t as comprehensive as Google's. HERE Maps is complemented by the HERE Drive turn-by-turn navigation app.

SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 8 REVIEW SPECS AND FEATURES

- by Unknown · - 0 Comments

Starting out from a weird “phablet” device, Samsung's Note series of smart products have grown to become a complete line-up, which today includes a 5.5” phablet, a 10.1” tablet, and now a smaller, 8” tablet. The Galaxy Note 8.0 keeps the characteristic feature of the series, namely the S Pen stylus, which seems to be getting more and more capable with each new iteration. As with the Note 10.1, the Note 8.0 will probably have some tough time because its direct competitor is the Apple iPad mini. Apple's smaller tablet is already enjoying some notable demand, which comes to show that there's money to be made in this device category. Another popular device, which is also dangerously close to the Note 8.0 is the Nexus 7. Being so aggressively priced, Google's 7” tablet sure is a force to be reckoned with. With such mighty competitors, it's very interesting to see what the Galaxy Note 8.0 is going to offer. Has Samsung loaded its product with enough features? Will the S Pen play its part and provide the Note 8.0 with some much needed differentiation? Read on to find out! Design Surprise is the last thing you can feel upon opening the box of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0. The tablet has Samsung's traditional design language, which gives it a kind of a retro look with those rounded corners. This kind of design actually works quite well for the Note 8.0, which doesn't look bad at all. As always, this Samsung device uses smooth, glossy plastic for its exterior, which we appreciate. It makes the Note 8.0 easy and comfortable to hold. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is easy and comfortable to hold The Home button, as well as the ones around the sides of the Galaxy Note 8.0 function very well. Only the power button could have been a bit better, but it's not too bad the way it is. All in all, we like what Samsung has done with the design of the Note 8.0. The device isn't anything groundbreaking, especially when compared to something like the iPad mini, but it's OK and is quite comfortable to use. Thanks to its light weight of 11.92 oz (338 g), it's also easy to hold with just one hand – something very important for an 8” tablet. The sides of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Display The Galaxy Note 8.0 doesn't surprise with some kind of innovative display technology. It simply has a quality LCD TFT screen with a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels. This makes for a pixel density of 189 ppi, which is certainly not too high, and that's easy to notice when using the tablet. In terms of clarity, the Note 8.0 positions itself below the Nexus 7 but above the iPad mini, which has an even lower pixel density. Anyways, Samsung's newest tablet has just enough resolution to make everything readable without annoying you, but yeah, it won't blow you away with super-sharp visuals. Viewing angles are pretty decent, and so is outdoor visibility, as the display is able to get quite bright. At the same time, we're glad to report that it can also get very dark, which is very valuable when using the device in the dark. S Pen The signature feature of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is, of course, the S Pen stylus that can be used for stuff like note-taking and drawing. The stylus itself fits into its silo very tightly, so there's absolutely no chance of it falling by accident. The S Pen is big enough to be comfortable to hold, although it probably would have been even better if it was a tad bigger. Still, it's OK the way it is right now. The signature feature of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is, of course, the S Pen stylus As you probably know, Samsung has worked with Wacom, the company that makes professional grade tablets for designers, in order to integrate some of its technology in the Note 8.0. As a result, the stylus is pressure-sensitive, and we're more than happy to say that writing with it is actually quite convenient. Sure, most people will probably find it harder to write with the S Pen than with a real pen, but the difference seems to be surprisingly small.

SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 3 VERSES SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 2 REVIEW AND SPECS

- by Unknown · - 0 Comments

Anyone who has already gone through Samsung Galaxy Note 3 review knows that the smartphone ranks among the best ones money can buy. It is an embodiment of high-end technology, and even though it doesn’t come cheap, it offers quite a lot of bang for its buck, not to mention that the hardware tucked under its hood makes it quite future-proof. And yes, as you might guess, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is indeed better than its year-old predecessor, namely the Samsung Galaxy Note II. But what exactly makes it better and what has its maker improved upon in order to impress us this time around? And most importantly, is the Note II still worth holding on to now that its third iteration is out? Read on to find out. Design We can only commend Samsung for treating its phablet to a solid hardware upgrade without that having a negative effect on the device's proportions. The width and height of the Galaxy Note 3 come really close to those of the year-old Note II (151.2 x 79.2 x 8.3 mm for the former vs 151 x 80.5 x 9.4 mm for the latter), with the new model being only slightly taller, yet a hair narrower and noticeably thinner. Moreover, at 168 grams, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is 14 grams lighter than the Note II, and is a tad easier to handle as a result. Of course, one can simply forget about using the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 single-handedly as it is still as challenging to wield as its predecessor. But at the end of the day, that's a common trait for all phablets, so we can't complain, especially when we're compensated with that huge, gorgeous touchscreen. While the Samsung Galaxy Note II and Note 3 fit in larger pockets, they are quite bulky and some users will find them uncomfortable to carry around. With its body made of glossy plastic, the Samsung Galaxy Note II looks and feels rather ordinary, especially now that we've grown tired of seeing the same design being rehashed over and over again. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 can't be described as a luxury device either, but it feels better to the touch with its leather-like back plate. Unlike its glossy counterpart, the Note 3 resists fingerprints well and has a lot more grip thanks to its textured surface. Both the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Samsung Galaxy Note II come with removable back covers, underneath which reside the slots for their SIM and microSD cards. Their batteries are also found there and are user-replaceable. Physical buttons on both smartphones are arranged in an identical manner, with a physical “Home” key below the screen, accompanied by capacitive “Menu” and “Back” buttons. The power and volume buttons are placed on the right and left sides of these devices. We can gladly say that all buttons are easy to reach and operate. It is also nice that the capacitive keys on the Note 3 can be operated with the S Pen's tip. Speaking of which... Fullscreen ‹ PREV 1 of 11 NEXT › ‹ Prev Next 1. S Pen The S Pen is a pressure-sensitive digital stylus included with both the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Note II. It is one of the perks you get with any Note device, allowing you to draw on a virtual canvas or to take down hand-written notes, as well as to navigate through the interface and take advantage of the implemented S Pen features. While a recent teardown revealed that the Note 3 comes with a newer model Wacom digitizer (that is the component turning analog S Pen input into digital signals the phone can interpret), we find the S Pen on the Note II pretty much as precise and responsive as the one on its successor. Display Samsung has outfitted the Galaxy Note 3 with its best Super AMOLED screen to date. The panel, measuring 5.7 inches in diagonal, has a resolution of 1080 by 1920 pixels, as is now the norm for all high-end smartphones. Thanks to this high pixel count (386 ppi), graphics and text are represented clearly, in high detail. Colors are adjusted to appear slightly oversaturated by default – something typical for AMOLED tech – but an option in the display settings allows one to have them set at a much more natural level. The slightly smaller, 5.5-inch Super AMOLED screen on the Samsung Galaxy Note II sure looked great when we first saw it in person. But with a resolution of 720 by 1280 pixels (resulting in a density of just 265 ppi), it is unable to deliver the same level of smoothness and detail achieved by the Note 3's display. Color representation is, again, a bit exaggerated and somewhat less accurate, but it can be adjusted to a more natural setting via the options menu. One more thing that sets these two smartphones' screens apart is their brightness output. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is relatively easy to use outdoors since its display shines quite brightly, while the Note II looks much dimmer when exposed to the sun's rays. Viewing angles are also better on the Note 3 as there's little color degradation when it is looked at from the side. The display on the Note II, on the other hand, turns blue even at moderate angles – not a deal breaker, but a flaw nonetheless. 1 You get slightly panicky when your phone is out of your line of sight. 2. …And ridiculously panicked when you accidentally leave it AT HOME. It’s like you’re missing a limb. 3. You sleep with your phone on your nightstand, or worse, IN your bed next to you. 4. Your friends tried to make you do this game, but you freaked out and grabbed your phone even though you had to buy a round of drinks. I mean, LOOK! That one’s lighting up! That could be a message for me! 5. You justify being on your phone all the time because you “might miss a work email.” 6. A cracked screen would never stand in YOUR way.
7. You prune and manage your apps like it’s the White House lawn. 8. You maintain three to five text threads/Snapchat chains going throughout most days. 9. At least once a week you freak out that you can’t find your phone, and then realize it’s in your hand. 10. Turning your phone off during a flight gives you horrendous PHOBIA. 11. …but also makes you excited, because you know when you turn it on, you’ll have tons of notifications to go through. 12. You insist that you can do two things at once — text AND walk, text AND listen! — but we all know that you cannot. 13. Seriously! Everyone can see you failing at this. 14. Sometimes you see an Instagram go up right away, but you wait 30 minutes to like it because you don’t want to seem lame. 15. You talk to it even when you know it would be easier to type your question into Google. 16. The only time you turn your phone off is on an airplane. Other than that, it just goes on silent. 17. You try not to do this at concerts, but you do it anyway. 19. You feel kind of dejected when you sneak a peek at your phone after a long dinner or meeting and you have no new notifications. 20. The idea of having to leave your phone in the store for repairs makes you ill. 21. You don’t mind getting to the bar before the friend you’re meeting, because you’re justified in losing yourself in your phone until they get there. 22. You constantly catch yourself trying to open apps you’re already in.

He is a commitment phobe An immature man does not realize that he has to grow up and upgrade his life. He doesn’t want to commit to anyone. He will not dedicate his energy on something when he prefers to do something else like adore and make love to his new car perhaps. He will not spend quality time with you. This man will never give you a definite answer because he does not want to commit to anything or anyone. #He always points the finger Nothing is ever his fault. Instead, it is everyone else’s fault. Even when caught in the act of having a clandestine affair…it is not his fault that the lady he is having an affair with finds him irresistible. He will never accept blame and when he finds himself cornered he will be generous enough to share the blame with you. #He has never been in a meaningful relationship He has never had a steady relationship and it is always the girls’ he has dated fault. His dating stories are full of one night stands and relationships that lasted two or three weeks and guess what honey, your relationship with him will not last either. Dating an immature guy is like a full time hard labor, peanuts paying job. It is taxing, frustrating and exhausting # “I love you” are words that will never come out of his mouth This dude will admit to loving his car, watch, video games and apartment-that he can barely afford by the way- but he will never talk about his feelings for you. He will torture you emotionally especially if your maturity levels are far apart and if you want different things out of life. He will heap emotional baggage after emotional baggage on you and will leave you to repair the damage without ever feeling a thing for you. #He is very materialistic He is all about everything flashy and expensive. He has his heart set on German cars when he cannot afford them without a massive help from the bank. He will borrow loans to buy things that will just make him liable… smart tv, smart refrigerator, flashy tire rims just because his friend got a better one than his. The sad part is that he will not spend on you, even on special days like your birthday. While at it he will not save anything because he can barely afford his lifestyle. That’s when you know you are dealing with someone stuck in the world of a young boy. He never has money because he Is always busy entertaining what doesn’t really matter and he probably owes everyone he knows some money. #He is very inconsiderate The immature man is a very selfish man. What he wants is always more important than what you want. It is always and I mean ALWAYS about him. He will rarely pay you a compliment even when everyone else does. He is selfish with his compliments. Other people and their needs don’t bother him and you will find that because of his selfishness and not caring about other people’s feelings, he is very rude. #The surface is all there is to him This guy is one word “SHALLOW”. He has no depth to him which is surely bound to bore you (as his girlfriend) stiff. He has absolutely nothing exciting to share about his life. He has no inner secrets, no stories and no true emotions. He will go along with everyone else’s ideas and thoughts. He is so shallow and shallowness does not look good on anyone. #He has no real life plans This guy has no clue what he wants to do for a living. He is comfortable with being employed (he was lucky to get his current job) and has no clue how to progress in life or what direction to take. He has not invested in education and feels nothing for the same. Just being alive is enough for him. The rest will take care of itself or some foolish, blind, desperate woman will. He is that ” YOLO is my motto” man even with the dumb decisions he makes in life. #The ball will always be in your court Simple things like deciding what to cook for dinner he cannot do. That entails so much thinking for him so he lets you decide instead. He will always throw the ball back in your court. Just in case you need him to help you with a plan of action, forget it…you are better off asking a complete stranger in the streets to help you make a decision. He avoids having to make any decisions. If anything ever goes wrong or you need his help, he will never step up. All in all, an immature man is a man trapped in a moment and he can’t get out of it!

APPLE IPHONE 5S VERSES SAMSUNG GALAXYS4 SPECIFICATIONS AND REVIEW

- by Unknown · - 0 Comments

In recent times, Samsung has been quite the aggressive company in its quest to bring the beloved iPhone to its knees, which is evident by the insane amount of commercial spots showing off how its Galaxy S4 is already the next big thing. For most of the year, it has proven to be a force of immeasurable power, as it has reigned supreme in the Android landscape – while also giving Apple’s pride and joy some much-needed competition. Now that the iPhone 5s is finally here, it’s not looking to mess around with the competition, seeing that it intends on bringing back the spotlight to Apple’s warm glow. Heading into that crucial holiday season, these two titans are hell bent on fighting against one another to claim victory. Design This is an interesting comparison, since the iPhone 5s retains its predecessor’s design to the teeth – so there’s nothing particularly new about it. Regardless of that, the iPhone 5s continues to be the more premium looking smartphone between the two, which is aided by its brushed aluminum casing. Compared to the Galaxy S4’s glossy plastic casing, the iPhone 5s also exudes the more sturdy build quality with its construction. And finally, when it comes to the in-the-hand feel, the smaller figure of the iPhone 5s enables it to feel more natural in the hand – whereas the Galaxy S4 is just one wide smartphone to hold. All the signs might point to the iPhone 5s as being the better looking device between the two, but the Galaxy S4 still has a pleasant design of its own too, though, personal preference becomes the deciding factor in which of the two is the more favorable one. Although they share many common ports and buttons, each handset packs along its own unique set of goodies. Below the display of the iPhone 5s, its home button incorporates a nifty biometric fingerprint sensor dubbed Touch ID, which enables us to unlock the phone and confirm app purchases. With the Galaxy S4, it packs along a very useful IR blaster that turns the phone into a universal remote – a great thing to have when you can’t find the clicker. Lastly, the Galaxy S4 has an LED notification light and removable back cover that enables us to access its internal battery and microSD card slot.

Heel Raises Heel raises are excellent for developing a rounder butt. You can use ankle weights or resistance bands to maintain tension for better muscle growth in the glutes and hamstrings. 1. Begin on your hands and knees in a tabletop position. Drive the heel of one foot straight up towards the ceiling, maintaining a 90-degree angle at the knee. At the top of the movement, take a second to flex the glute muscles as you exhale. 2. Inhale as you slowly bring the knee back down, crossing it over the opposite knee. Tip: For a more intense workout, do 1 to 2 minutes on one leg, then continue with another 1 to 2 minutes on the same leg, but this time extending your leg straight out. Once this 2 to 4 minute set is complete, switch legs. Jump Squats Jump squats are great for gaining strength and burning fat. 1. To start, slowly lower yourself into a squat making sure your knees don't pass your toes. This is called the safe-squat position. 2. Next, spring up into a straight jump and land in the same safe-squat position. Repeat this movement continuously for 30 seconds. Single Leg Bridges Leg bridges are great for your booty and build sexy VS model legs. 1. Lie on your back with one foot flat on the ground and one leg straight up in the air. 2. Exhale as you place your weight into the heel of the foot on the ground and drive your glutes up aiming to make your body straight from shoulder to knee. At the top of the movement, flex your glutes and inhale as you slowly return to start position. Repeat this for 20 repetitions per leg, pulsing at the top for 10 seconds at the end of each set.

GUIDELINES TO SETTING UP YOUR WORDPRESS POWERED WEBSITE

- by Unknown · - 0 Comments

Setting up your own WordPress website can seem like a daunting task if you’ve never done anything like this before. Fortunately, one of the best things about using WordPress is that it’s so user-friendly and intuitive, just about anyone can do it! While the technical part of setting up a WordPress website isn’t really complicated, knowing what to put on your website and how to make it work for you can be a little bit more difficult. Here’s ten easy steps to getting started on WordPress. Simply follow these and you’ll be up and running in no time at all. Step 1: Define your site Before you do anything involving WordPress, you need to pick your niche. Trying to develop a WordPress website about something that’s been done 10,000 times isn’t going to prove terribly beneficial. If your WordPress site isn’t for an existing business, make sure you pick a topic that truly interests you, so that it won’t feel like a chore to work on and update your site now or months down the road. Step 2: Choose a domain name Your domain name should relate directly to the niche you chose in step 1, and it should be a name that’s so easy for users to remember that they never forget it. Doing some keyword research can also be helpful. Stuck on a particular name but .com is taken? Try .net or .co. Step 3: Hire a web host Your next step is to find a reliable web host to handle your site. What about a shared vs. dedicated server? In most cases, shared web hosting will be just fine and it very popular with WordPress users. Step 4: Install WordPress At the risk of stating the obvious, once you have found your web host and domain name, it’s time to install WordPress and get up and running. installing WordPress is incredibly easy and takes just minutes with our Softaculous script installer. Step 5: Choose a WordPress theme Next, you need to decide on a design theme for your WordPress site. There are thousands upon thousands of themes available, ranging from absolutely free to upwards of hundreds of dollars. When selecting your theme, try to ensure that it makes sense for both the topic of your site as well as the layout and content you plan to publish. Step 6: Configure your plugins A WordPress Plugin is a program written in the PHP scripting language, that adds a specific set of features or services to a WordPress website. WordPress plugins provide a great deal of customization and flexibility to your WordPress site, as well as valuable features and tools for your visitors. You may not start out with a ton of plugins, but the longer you use WordPress, the more you’ll find ones that benefit your site. Some of our favorites include JetPack and Yoast SEO. Step 7: Complete your administrative pages Important pages include your contact page, about page, privacy, and disclaimer page. Get these out of the way before you focus on adding content to your site - after all, it’s easier to add them now than later, when you’re done publishing all of the other, more exciting stuff! These pages also serve to protect both you and your site visitors. Step 8: Publish your content. Rinse. Repeat. After you get the important administrative pages published, it’s time to start adding interesting content. Whatever your niche, you want to make sure you include plenty of quality content for your readers. Make your pages visually rich and further, make it a priority to keep adding new content on a regular basis. If blogging, add at least one image to each and every post. Not only does this give your readers something to pin on Pinterest, it also makes your content more appealing. Whether you decide to add content daily, weekly, or monthly, creating a content calendar will help keep you on the right track. Step 9: Don't forget marketing Marketing your new site is a two-fold endeavor. First, there’s SEO (search engine optimization): make sure your pages have relevant keywords in the title, description, and body text. Second, take the time to promote your site in any way possible. Free options include the use of social media sites, forums, and emailing out a regular newsletter. You may also consider guest posting and commenting on blogs, forums, and communities to build up your social connections and link popularity. Step 10: Back up your site Your content is your most valuable asset, so make sure you back up your site! For your blog, that means backing up your content in case of a crash so you won’t have to start all over again. If you don’t back up posts, plugins, and affiliate links, it might take you a while before getting back on your feet. If you don’t have time to regularly back up your site, your web host should offer an alternative.
